I am now getting this - not sure why - but after setting up all by PiFace outputs (buttons) to work with RasPiConnect it broke along the way. (if I rem out Local.py it still fails)
Any ideas on troubleshooting this one? - there is no error in the RasPiConnect Log.
(it worked earlier today - and Ive double checked my url, username and password etc) - and all button control thru the piface is working (for Led/Buttons 7-0)
thanks
Julian

the other thing I did was apt-get update and apt-get dist-upgrade - (maybe something got updated and broke the W-1 query along the way)

Julian,
Turn on Debug in the config.h file, rerun the server and execute your query and see what the log says.
Best regards,

Heres what it reports - and then Validate button stays RED next to W-1 on the ipad (I Set debug to TRUE in Config.py)

When I setup a Server Status button on the RasPiConnect App on the Ipad - stays red (failing validation) - and this is what is logged after I save the control anyway and try to use it:
XMLCOMMAND: USERNAME: 027C697DC48E9F294D450E5DF7372253 PASSWORD: 260BCADB4EAF04BEB77173D58563F970 OBJECTNAME: Server Status OBJECTTYPE: 256 OBJECTSERVERID: SS-1 OBJECTID: 46 027C697DC48E9F294D450E5DF7372253 260BCADB4EAF04BEB77173D58563F970 objectType = 256 objectServerID = SS-1 VALIDATE=NO objectServerID = SS-1 <XMLCOMMAND><OBJECTID>46</OBJECTID><OBJECTSERVERID>SS-1</OBJECTSERVERID><OBJECTTYPE>256</OBJECTTYPE><OBJECTFLA GS>0</OBJECTFLAGS><RASPICONNECTSERVERVERSIONNUMBER>2.9</RASPICONNECTSERVERVERSIONNUMBER><RESPONSE><![CDATA[INV ALID RASPICONNECT CODE]]></RESPONSE></XMLCOMMA192.168.3.145:56855 - - [21/Dec/2013 07:56:20] "HTTP/1.1 POST /r aspi" - 200 OK
But in the mean time - all the B0-B7 programming I have is working fine
thanks for the help - Julian

Sorry it is my Local.py code - I just noticed Local.pyc (compiled Local ?) - anyway I renamed my Local.py and deleted Local.pyc and rebooted - now the W-1 and SS-1 Controls are working fine.
So Ill Look at my Local.py code and see whats up
..... and I did - fixed it (I think it was an indent problem at the end of Local.py in the return area)
I also changed it to return ""
now I just have to figure out how to get rid of "Panther's Den" - lol
