First of all, thanks for bringing this product out. I've been waiting for it. I need lots of panel power as I'm in a cloudy area.
The question I have is this:
I looked at the SolarMAX code inside of SkyWeather and I see that SolarMax is detected by a protocol code of "8". Can I have more than one SolarMAX in my area?

We are pleased to have launched this too! We have two deployed right here at the lab and we start shipping them out tomorrow. The protocol code is set inside the Arduino in the SolarMAX box. Maybe we should include a DIP switch? But in any case, download the Arduino software for SolarMAX github.com/switchdoclabs/SDL_Arduino_SolarMAX_LoRa_TxAnd you can change the protocol number to 9 or 10. Protocol 7 is the WXLink system and Protocol 8 is the SolarMAX protocol. Then modify your software to receive protocol 9 instead of 8. BP

looking at the two kits (lipo and lead acid) are they mutually exclusive or is one of them capable of doing both battery types?

They are mutually exclusive. The controllers are vastly different!

Where can we access the Blynk dashboard?

Racky,
It's not a dashboard, it's an app on your phone tied into your SolarMAX system through SkyWeather. SolarMAX doesn't transmit info directly to Blynk. However, what a good idea for advanced users! Unfortunately, SolarMAX does not have an internet connection so we will have to see what to do. What unit do you have? If you have SkyWeather, it is built in to the Raspberry Pi Python software.

I purchased the lead-acid kickstarter and was trying to get setup before it gets here. I have blynk but didn't know where the info was to get the same look you have put on the website.

Racky,
Unfortunately, the only Blynk app we have that interfaces with SolarMAX is through the SkyWeather Kit.
However, you have given me a GREAT idea. I will take the testWXLink.py code from SkyWeather and build a Blynk App for it. This is not going to be a big deal.
I'll try to get that done by end of next week. BP

Sorry for what may be a dumb question but I have historically only used the raspberry pi and it similar boards and don't have any real experience with Arduino boards or setup.
Can you give specific instructions or point me to the correct way to load the sketch onto the Grove Mini Pro LP so I can get my SolarMax up and running. I have everything setup and working except the required work on the Mini Pro.
Thanks and great product and help!

I get:
RH_RF95 is not a template when trying to compile the sketch before I upload it to the Mini LP Pro.

Welcome to Arduino Library Land! Its a fun place where things aren't thought out very well and don't always work. make sure you use the following library. Delete the old RH library before you put this in. Shutdown and restart the IDE. This is a strange error that we have had a hard time figuring out why the standard library doesn't work. Ok, we are getting closer. Lead acid kit is configured and sketch loaded to LP Mini Pro after correction stated above. Now the "Python Drivers for SolarMAX" gives an error when running the testWXLink.py in line 1 related to "import config". Help again Please Attachments:

Ah, I know exactly what has happened. We didn't include the config.py in the software distribution. We had a conflocal.py in our test software so it passed the test anyway. I'lll get the fixed and uploaded shortly into the GitHub.
