While I have ordered a pre configured SD card (it should be shipping today) I am trying to build my own and have hit a snag..I have Buster up and running on my Raspberry and am following the instructions in the README file but get an error halfway through.
Error happens on the sudo pip install --upgrade setuptools pip command and I am assuming it is because I was unable to figure out the first step diff conflocal.py config.py... Error is setuptools requires pyton 3.5 but is running 2.7.16..
As you can tell I am a bit of a noob with software and know just enough to be hardly dangerous but like trying to learn..Any help would be appreciated as despite my efforts I cannot figure this out..

Hmmm. It sounds like you have set your Python default to 3.5 That's the first thing to change to 2.7

Seems that may be the case..any hints to change it? I just did a standard install of buster initially not sure if i missed something..Still learning and I know this may not be the place for a crash course but figured it didn't hurt to ask.. Here is what it says
setuptools requires Python '>=3.5' but the running Python is 2.7.16
pi@raspberrypi:~ $ python --version Python 2.7.16 pi@raspberrypi:~ $ python3 --version Python 3.7.3

Thanks..not exactly sure what I did but it seems to have worked probably should have written it down.. Think I made the default python 3.7 and ran command as pip3 not pip.. Now on to the Skyweather install we'll see if i can figure this out..Glad I ordered the card as a backup..
