HI, I'm being dumb but it's late here and I've come back to the OurWeather after having to put it aside for the month and I've forgotten the admin password. Now I know I've already done 1 factory reset but I just can't work out how I did it. To be honest the documentation isn't very clear as it says on page 50 from www.switchdoc.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/11/OurWeatherV2Assembly-1.pdfMy first issue is I have no idea what the following page is as that seems to be missing from the manual All I have on the OurWeather V2 board (or all I can see) is a reset button and I must have held that down for way over 1 minute multiple times with the unit just booting up as normal. Can someone shed some light on it please? Regards Howard

I did the procedure above, but the display keep shown:
1.- Logo Screen 2.- Booting up with ver 36 screen 3.- Trying WiFi connections fail, xxx 4.- return to logo screen and so on
How can I return to factory version?, ver 35 was working well before to migrate to ver 36
Thanks in advance Lean

Howard/Lean,
Don't hold the reset button down. There are two ways of doing a reset which I thought I published on here some where. I'll dig it out.
V2 can be reset with a command (which requires you to be on a network - see the Advanced Programming manual) or with a jumper wire (which is what I don't have today - I am off site).
Lean, can you shoot a video (not holding the reset button down) and let me see what is going on.

Can you let me know the jumper wire method please as I don't have the current admin password.
Thanks

Howard,
There is another way to reset the board for such a problem. With the power off connect a jumper from D25 (Presented as Pin 1 on the J15 Grove Connector) to a Ground wire (Pin 4 of the same connector). On the J15 connector, Pin 1 is the one inside the board and Pin 4(Ground) is on the outside of the board.
Turn your power on the board and remove the jumper when you see "Try ing WIFI AP" your preferences are completely gone.
By the way in Grove cable, yellow is pin 1 and black is pin 4.

Lean, Thank you. You definitely have it in some kind of a loop. Would you reset it using this procedure (that I gave to Howard above): There is another way to reset the board for such a problem. The reset worked fine for me. I've now got a jumper wire taped to the underside of the board just in case.
Cheers

Please check the card shown inside the " Assembly and Operation Manual, April 2016", because the card above it is not the same.
Thanks
