I am trying to connect to my Raspberry Pi that uses a wireless LAN. I followed the setup information on the website, and using my iPad internet browser, I can type in address>:9600/Version and the correct page comes up. But when I go to the Server Report page on the RasPiConnect app, I get the following errors: pi@raspberrypi ~/RasPiConnectServer $ python RasPiConnectServer.py address>:9600/ Traceback (most recent call last): File "/usr/local/lib/python2.7/dist-packages/web.py-0.37-py2.7.egg/web/application.py", line 239, in process return self.handle() File "/usr/local/lib/python2.7/dist-packages/web.py-0.37-py2.7.egg/web/application.py", line 230, in handle return self._delegate(fn, self.fvars, args) File "/usr/local/lib/python2.7/dist-packages/web.py-0.37-py2.7.egg/web/application.py", line 420, in _delegate return handle_class(cls) File "/usr/local/lib/python2.7/dist-packages/web.py-0.37-py2.7.egg/web/application.py", line 396, in handle_class return tocall(*args) File "/home/pi/RasPiConnectServer/RasPiConnectServer.py", line 180, in POST import LocalExample File "./local/LocalExample.py", line 25, in <module> GPIO.setup(7, GPIO.OUT) ## Setup GPIO Pin 7 to OUT RuntimeError: No access to /dev/mem. Tays,
It looks like you are not running RasPiConnectServer as root.
Try:
sudo sh startserver.sh
That's what it looks like from:
File "./local/LocalExample.py", line 25, in <module> GPIO.setup(7, GPIO.OUT) ## Setup GPIO Pin 7 to OUT RuntimeError: No access to /dev/mem. Try running as root!
