Nisse,
Post your Local.py file. I think you must have a mistake in the file.
Best regards,
BP

Local.py (3.19 KB) B-1 works, output in server log: <XMLObjectXMLRequests><XMLCOMMAND><OBJECTSERVERID>B-1</OBJECTSERVERID><OBJECTNAME>Button</OBJECTNAME><USERNAME>B640A0CE465FA2A4150C36B305C1C11B</USERNAME><PASSWORD>6EDEC33DF6D9F13BC379D07B22F99228</PASSWORD><OBJECTTYPE>16</OBJECTTYPE><OBJECTFLAGS>0</OBJECTFLAGS><OBJECTACTION>SINGLEPUSH</OBJECTACTION><OBJECTID>92</OBJECTID></XMLCOMMAND></XMLObjectXMLRequests> XMLCOMMAND: USERNAME: B640A0CE465FA2A4150C36B305C1C11B PASSWORD: 6EDEC33DF6D9F13BC379D07B22F99228 OBJECTNAME: Button OBJECTTYPE: 16 OBJECTSERVERID: B-1 OBJECTID: 92 B640A0CE465FA2A4150C36B305C1C11B 6EDEC33DF6D9F13BC379D07B22F99228 objectType = 16 objectServerID = B-1 VALIDATE=NO objectServerID = B-1 Button # B-1: Blinking GPIO pin 7 responseData = OK Local user objects returns: <XMLCOMMAND><OBJECTID>92</OBJECTID><OBJECTSERVERID>B-1</OBJECTSERVERID><OBJECTTYPE>16</OBJECTTYPE><OBJECTFLAGS>0</OBJECTFLAGS><RASPICONNECTSERVERVERSIONNUMBER>3.0</RASPICONNECTSERVERVERSIONNUMBER><RESPONSE><![CDATA[OK]]></RESPONSE></XMLCOMMAND> final outgoing data =<XMLRESPONSES><XMLCOMMAND><OBJECTID>92</OBJECTID><OBJECTSERVERID>B-1</OBJECTSERVERID><OBJECTTYPE>16</OBJECTTYPE><OBJECTFLAGS>0</OBJECTFLAGS><RASPICONNECTSERVERVERSIONNUMBER>3.0</RASPICONNECTSERVERVERSIONNUMBER><RESPONSE><![CDATA[OK]]></RESPONSE></XMLCOMMAND></XMLRESPONSES> But for SU-1 I only got: <XMLObjectXMLRequests></XMLObjectXMLRequests> final outgoing data =<XMLRESPONSES></XMLRESPONSES> Regards Nisse

Yes I can see it in the reply yesterday at 9:31pm. But I will attach it in this answer as well. Another thing I noticed is that I can't configure the Sound Alarm Control in the app. Don't know if that should be possible, but in my installation the Configure button is not activated. Nothing happens when I click on it. Regards Nisse Local.py (3.19 KB)

Nisse,
Got it! I missed the attachment in the reply. Well, I don't see anything wrong with your Local.py off hand.
It looks like your aren't sending the SU-1 to your Pi. That's the blank request.
Are you sure you have the SU-1 control on the App is pointed (systemURL) to the Pi? Settings->Control Object Report is another good way to debug connectivity problems. That's why we have the Validation clauses to help out here.
If you could PRIVATE MESSAGE me your RasPiConnect.xml file, I could look at your configuration. You don't want to post that as it contains your account and password information and your URLs.
We will get to the bottom of this!
Best regards,
BP

Nisse, There is no user configuration available on the Alarm buttons. That's why the Customize button is grayed out.

Hi, thanks for your help.
I cleaned up my installations and started from scratch again.
I installed a new RasPiConnectServer and removed my Ipad app and installed it again.
When I add a Sound Alarm control it does not get validated and Settings->Control Object Report says that Sound Alarm points to correct server, but is also says that it's not ok.
I will send the configuration xml file as a private message ( if I find out how to attach a file )
Regards
Nisse

Hi again, I did not find out how to attach a file in a private message. And as it is just a temporary installation with information that not will be used later I will upload it here. I hope I understand this right, that you want to have the configuration file from my Ipad app. 20140716B.xml (6.88 KB) Regards Nisse

nisse,
That's the file I needed. I'm downloading it and installing on my test iPad to see if I can duplicate this odd problem. I don't see anything wrong with your code.

Nisse,
I've replicated your problem. It looks like a bug. The right engineer is busy right now, but I'll talk to him (and submit a bug report) later today. We are thinking that there will be a bug release sometime in the next couple of weeks.
Best regards,
BP
