Hello,
I've gotten the Arduino Connect Software up and running on my Mega with hard wired ethernet shield. However, I'm seeing some very strange behavior that I'm wondering if you or anyone else has seen.
When sending a REST message to the server, I ALWAYS get a FAIL on the first attempt. A second attempt always succeeds. The pattern then continues with every other failing and succeeding. I've turned on all the debugging in the code I can and dug all the way down in the code until I reached where it looks like I'm moving from your code into the Ethernet code.
I see that the expect() call does the actual reading (which took quite a bit to figure out... that side effect wasn't all that obvious.. a comment or three in the code would be very helpful there, BTW).
I can provide additional debugging info (and can test or try out other things) but figured I'd start at this level with this description.
Thanks.
Earl

Earl,
First thing is which Arduino IDE are you using? Strange stuff has been happening with 1.6+. Make sure you have the latest (less bugs in the IDE).
We need to bring up the ethernet code on the latest 1.6 IDE and see what happens.
Best regards,
BP
