I have tried to make changes to the xml file and it fails, most probably I use the wrong editor. If possible what editor do yo recommend.

Hello Gerard,
First of all, what do you mean "it fails"? Any message or anything?
If you turn off the XML integrity check in the Settings of the app, it should take anything (but it may not work! be careful).
We use "vi" and "nano" from the command line. Make sure you are using a TEXT editor and not a word processor.

Thanks for the response!
What i mean by fail was that the xml file was rejected by the program. I think I used the wrong method to modify. Transfer file to windows pc, open with notepad++, modify, save, move back to Pi. It looks like there is some additional text that gets added that the program complains about.
I will modify on the Pi with nano in future.
