I recently completed the SGS project and, aside for the oled display being on the fritz, SwitchDoc is graciously sending me a new one, the system appears to work. I ssh'd into the Pi, started the system, had the moisture sensor in a dry plant and the pump kicked on for about one maybe two seconds, shut off and in my terminal window, I see:
activeAlarm= False lastAlarm= True activeAlarm= False lastAlarm= True activeAlarm= False lastAlarm= True
Over and over. Any idea what that means?
Also, is there any troubleshooting documentation or documentation that discusses the output either to the terminal or the oled?
Thanks,
Pete

Pamisano,
Please post the entire listing if possible from startup until you see this. We are trying to figure out what is going on. Also publish your configuration file (confocal.py) with any passwords removed.

Also re-ran the all sensor test, the moisture test and tank calibration. All provided results as expected, but keep getting the lastAlarm/ActiveAlarm upon execution of SGS.py

OK. Turns out that this is just debugging information. Comment out line 906 and line 907 in SGS.py so they look like this.
#print "lastAlarm=", lastAlarm #print "activeAlarm=", activeAlarm
