I followed the manual for the Blynk set up, but I have no data being displayed. I purchased the extra energy to bring me to 14,200 and grabbed ver 004 from the QCR code on the store's sales page. I placed the code into conflocal.py and set to True. The app says is has not come on line, but according to Wunderground, the box is on line. The text is scrolling by in terminal.

OK, Things are up and running. But, I'll tell you what I think was the problem. I received emails from Google about access to less secure apps. I turned this off and everything seems to work. Blynk has loaded, received an email from the system saying that SkyWeather version 038 has loaded on it's IP Address. Never had this message before.
Now.I really want to take this unit outside, right? That's what it's for. But for some reason I can't connect to the unit remotely unless it is connected to a monitor. Why would that be? I'm using Real VNC and when it is attached to the monitor, it connects now. Without the monitor attached, Real VNC nor ssh do not want to connect.
Any simple answers to this?

Something is hosed up on VNC. Try reinitializing VNC (or uninstall and reinstall). We do use VNC extensively without the monitor.
Make sure it is enabled in sudo raspi-connect too.
Great about the email! You must have set up the email. That is what it is supposed to do.
