Hello, I am VERY new to hardware and was wondering if this switch could be used without the pi2grover? I have a raspberry pi that I would like to use to control the switch. Is there an option to add just one grover connection somehow? Is it possible to just use the grove to female adapter cables to connect the USB PowerControl to the Rpi? Where can I learn how to do this?

Yes, you should be able to do this without much problem. Here are the cables you need.
