It seems like my sun board is gone...
I've charged the battery by attaching an external power source. When I saw the battery full light was on, I detached the external source and tried to power up the system, but nothing happened. I've tried to disconnect most of the cables and do test 1 in the documentation, but there are no blue lights... I've tried to reattach the external power source, but it still doesn't want to turn on.
I do get some indication from the solar panel, but since its still indoors the lights are just around on/off.

First of all, measure the voltage on the battery. Post it up here.
Are there any LEDs on?
What is the "indication" you get from the solar panel?

The battery: 4.19V With the indication from the solar I mean the LEDs. What I meant to say is that it's hard to get power from them due to indoor conditions. Below pictures are taken with the light on, which today gives a reading from the panels. Other days it will just work intermittently (it depends on enough sun outside the window...) I don't know if you can see the LEDs on the pictures. With both the battery and the solar panels connected (first picture) the Input Power Good light is solid on and the Battery Charging is blinking fast. With only the solar panels connected (second picture), both light are solid. No change depending on the on/off switch what so ever. No other LEDs are working.

OK. Sounds like you have a bad SunControl board. I would suggest you get a 10W 5.6V Zener diode for across the solar panels to make sure you don't fry the replacement board. Clearly the 5V power generator is not working. I just verified the correct behavior with a unit here. shop.switchdoc.com/products/10w-5-6v-zener-diodePlease return the SunControl board to: SwitchDoc Labs RMA#081219-01 909 S Shelley Lake Lane Spokane Valley, WA 99037 PM us your shipping address and we will cross ship.
