Question.. I finally have my station mounted and running. Reporting to weather underground fine. All except the barometer.. its done nothing but rise, now at 30.18 since it registered. Its currently thunder storming here, so i dont think its that high. www.wunderground.com/dashboard/pws/KTXLITTL98 thoughts?

I didnt check nearby stations that you have, but I find the hPa crashes out before a t/storm and then rises fairly quickly again afterwards.
Going by your short reporting data, it looks all ok as it was only a 4 hPa climb before you reset it at approx 3pm

I just started mine and I keep getting a barometer reading of 31.05 when local stations are reporting 29.55. is there a wait time for it to acclamate before reporting correctly or is there a way to adjust it to correct readings? My altitude is set correctly. Thanks john

Ok well got a better reading on altitude which did drop the pressure to 30.02 but most other stations that are close by read 29.94, 29.88, 29.76 etc. One that is only a couple of blocks away is reading 30.12 so I'm assuming that with this better altitude reading it's correct? The other three stations with lower readings are within 5 miles. I've just never noticed stations this close with readings this far apart, usually within .12 of each other or less.

It's an altitude thing for sure.
