Ok I did a git pull and now nothing shows up, it's stuck on a old picture and readings. Since it asked about commit or merge I just went ahead and recloned the directory. Everything is there in the SDL_Pi_SkyWeather dir. I even copied back the conflocal.py file, and I also checked the rc.local file and everything appears in order, but I can't tell if the program is running or not as it still shows the image from when I tried to do the git pull. I've even disconnected power for 10 minutes and plugged it back in to reboot the system with no change. I'm at wits end here and really not looking forward to have to climb on the roof and drop this down to bring inside and hookup to a monitor. I've tried the jobs command with nothing showing. I've also done another git pull and it tells me already up-to-date so I assume the directory cloned properly.

OK, first thing to do is to log into the machine.
Do the following command:
ps xaf | grep python This will tell you if it is running. If it is not running, then go into the SkyWeather Directory and type:
sudo python SkyWeather.py
and then you can see where it bombs. I suspect you need to add this code to your conflocal.py ( I can see the comment is a little misleading - I'll have to fix that):
# SolarMAX_Type = "LEAD" for SolarMAX Lead Acid # SolarMAX_Type = "LIPO" for SolarMAX LiPo SolarMAX_Type = ""
You definitely don't need to hook up a monitor. I'll bet you have all the information you need from the command line.
I'll be on later today so I'll check back.

It's working now, after doing the clone it was running ( I could tell because the photo updated from the day shot to a night shot ) but none of the sensors were updating even after doing a few shutdowns and restarts. I'm guessing after skyweather did its own reboot it cleared the memory or issue which is strange because I would have figured after a shutdown and power being disconnected for 30 minutes then being powered back up everything would have reset. But even after a few hours last night it was only updating the camera image..oh well it's working again now so I guess whenever a new version comes out I'll just remove the directory and reclone it, restart then wait till the next day for it to clear and work right... And yes after I cloned the directory I added those three lines about solarmax. Just weird that it obviously waited until the software did it's own reboot to start working again.

Now to figure out why the aqi sensor is only reading zero all the time now. It is working when I do the test so stumped why it's always zero here lately unless it's because of the rain lately.... Even after a week of no rain it's zero, so I may have to just bring it down to insure nothing is blocking its ability to get airflow

My guess is you had two copies of SkyWeather running. You don't have to wait for the next day to restart:
sudo reboot BP

I am setting up my Skyweather 2. Can I manually set my MQTT server credentials ? The web gui configuration tool does not have an option for username, password, or topic. I use Mosquitto. One of the reasons why I bought Skyweather 2 is for my R/C club. I would like to display a ticker of the current weather conditions at my clubs airfield.
Thanks.

You will have to make a small modification to the software. How to do that is on the forum somewhere.
