I managed to tear off the RJ11 connector from the rain bucket I am able to fit a new one, but I need the wire placement. Can yo tell me what wires goed where in the RJ11?

Hi,
I found the specs, which say pin 2 and 3, but if I look into the ripped off plug, I seem to see trace on pin 3 and 4. Which could make sense, since they are the two middel pins... Problem is there is a 4-pin RJ11 and a 6-pin RJ11... Physically I have the 6-pin, but then my observation on pin 3-4 contradicts the described pin 2-3...

1 and 6 are left out on RJ11 plugs. So pins 1-4 start with second pin on an non-RJ11 plug.

Exactly! 6 Pin is Ethernet. 4 Pin is Phone Wires.
