Hello,
I bought the pre-loaded sd card for my SmartGardenSystem. Everything seems to work fine with the exception of the Pi not connecting to the internet. I have assigned it to my wifi and entered my password. The Pi shows that it has an ip address but will not get online. Does anyone have any thoughts on this?
Thank you. James

James,
Hmmm. Can you try setting up the WiFi using sudo raspi-config?
Can you ping the pi? Can you ping your gateway?

James, Can you login into the Pi and Ping the gateway? This is a Pi setup problem of some kind for sure. Does DNS work on your Pi? try ping www.microsoft.com for example. BP

In order to get it to connect to the internet, I had to use the command sudo dhclient wlan0. I found this while searching the internet for others with the same problem. And for some reason, I have to use this command everytime I switch networks.
