Relating to. OurWeater V2
I want to extend the standard functionality with a Sunlight Sensor.
I think all the accessories in the Expansion Kit are superfluous.
When WeatherBoard V2 must necessarily be placed on a mast above the roof of the house at a height of 7 meters, and in a waterproof box, an indoor sensor and an air quality meter do not make much sense when the Grove cables can only be 50 cm long. The same with a Pixels Display.
Here we are missing a Remote Add on kit with Display and indoor sensors that can talk to OutWeatherPlus via WiFi.
OurWeather Expansion Kit
explanation
This expansion kit adds lighting detection, an indoor quality sensor, a sunlight sensor and an inside temperature and humidity sensor. And in RGBW Pixel display. All integrated into OurWeather.
Contains:
Lightning Detection - The ThunderBoard
6 Port I2C Hub
Indoor Air Quality Sensor
Sunlight Sensor
Inside Temperature and Humidity Sensor
Pixel RGBW Display
5 20cm Grove Cables
2 50cm Grove Cables
I therefore only want to connect a Sunlight Sensor.
Can I easily connect a TLS2591 Breakout Board to WeatherPlus V2 Grove connection, and will it work right out of the box?
Can I use Grove SI1145 instead and get UV measurement with it too ?
Is the Weather Plus 2 Software prepared for the 2 sensors ?
How should the sensor be positioned to measure correctly?
It must be set up so that it sits horizontally facing straight up into the sky, in order to give correct measurements?
Can I buy the special UV Glass with mounting frame from you?
Have seen it at some point, but now I can't find it in the shop?
Thanks for the MQTT integration, it is a great help that it is so nicely integrated now :-)
