I must be missing something basic...
I am trying to test the Dual Watch Dog before attempting a connection to reset.
1) Power is connected to 3.3v pin on Nodemcu 2) And Gnd is connected to Gnd on NodeMcu.
3) My test app is in a 4 second loop, setting and reset a GPIO pin which is connected to watch dog input.
4) The DogOut pin is connected to an LED / resistor to +3.3v
I see the red LED on the watch dog going off and on with the input
And the output pin is going on/off with the input...
What am I missing...I though the output triggered with the absence of the input signal?
Thx,

You somehow are not resetting the WatchDog correctly. I'd guess you aren't going to tristate in your program and only pulling low. You can use the Grove connector if you want to not go to tristate as that is buffered.
