Is there a Rest-API that can be used to GET the data from the SkyWeather IP Address and use it in Node-Red?
I've poked around the forums, but didn't really find what I was looking for.

You can fetch it via MQTT and then parse it out from the JSON to Node Red.

Any example available? Reference to docs/links?
I noticed that the weird behavior with the binary garbage in the nohup out file coms from bad connectivity to the mysql-server. So extracting the data differently for my site would be a win.

I could swear that we had written a manual for the MQTT but for the life of me I can't find it.
Turns out I am confused. We have MQTT in OurWeather but have not implemented it in SkyWeather yet. It's on the list.

Would be nice to have that. Would ease lots of things. Using Mosquitto one could set up its own reciving end and query it at will when required. Could also trigger events as we can listen to a registered "link".
Any ETA on when that will be available?

Don't have an ETA yet. But we will get to it.
