I'm using this tutorial: www.switchdoc.com/2018/11/tutorial-capacitive-moisture-sensor-grove/Good news - everything works Bad news - the pumps shut. I can hear the motor stop. If I leave them in the water, they drain the tank!?! These are small aquarium pumps. I've checked all the connections. Could this be a short? Or faulty pump? Any ideas would be appreciated.

Nelson,
I suspect I know you!
How are you controlling your pumps? That's the first place to start checking. What kind of pumps are they?

You are probably drawing too much current from the Raspberry Pi. How are you connecting the relays? Did you connect them to NC or NO?
You should check out our new kickstarter. We have solved all these kinds of problems in Smart Garden System Version 2.
