Hi SDL & Co.,
just registered my SkyWeather to Weather_STEM and removed it shortly after. 2 things I noticed: - I am unable to provide it localization data (does not work. Get the pop-up all 30secs to allow localization, but it won't identify it). - Does any localization exist? Everything is in Fahrenheit - yet except in 7 countries on this planet, the rest is using the metric system - as is France I'm in myself. - Is there a way to influence the pictures of the SkyCam? Because mine shows the neighbors entrance - and I don't want that. I did cut it out on my website by cropping 2/3 top of the picture, but for weatherstem, what the skycam provides is sent out.
Anyway I could contact the WeatherSTEM guys? I'd be willing to host my own version of the software (If it is PHP, I'd be willing to look into the code to make it suitable for international use).
Thx

Smurphy,
There is a "C or F" switch on the first page.
What localization are you looking for?
You can edit the SkyWeather software to cut off what you want. It's a picam compatible camera and in SkyCamera.py
You can contact the WeatherSTEM guys at their website, but they aren't going to let you host your own. It is a very very complex cloud based system.

Thx for the hints. Will see if I can contact them about it. I can setup my own system and so far, I setup very complex cloud systems myself for my job. So that should not be an issue
