I did run it prior, but can't remember if I did this last time. I think it wouldn't run before due to the mysql not installing and running properly. I will run it when I get home and report back. Thanks.
No, that didn't help. Tried them all again and nothing.

Well, any chance you could hook your PI to the Internet so I could connect to it? I'd be willing to check what can go wrong. PM me for details in case that would be possible.
PS: In your home router, put the PI onto one port and configure the Raspberry PI as DMZ. As I have a static IP @ Home, you can also set a filter to only allow it to connect -> PM me for details.

Everything will work remotely once you have a working DB and can configure a user for the remote DB access.
