Yes, I tried it with everything else disconnected. 03 still shows up on the TCA9545 test, and still not detected on 0x02 on base bus when I run AS3935 test. Everything else seems to be working, just got the Blynk app set up and I'm getting data so that is a step in the right direction.
Thanks again!

Dave,
Would you send me a closeup picture of the ThunderBoard? I'm wondering if you have a really old board.

Yes, you have a very old board. When and where did you buy this?

Not sure if you are asking me or kiwx, but mine still says AS3935 NOT detected at I2C port 0x02 on base Bus DaveDave, have you wired the AS3935 to the same I2C port that feeds the weatherboard it should be connected directly to the I2C on the raspberry Pi, the software turns on port 1 of the mux when it access it only to take loading off the bus. When you do the mux test you should see the 0x03 on all the buses in the test. Also, if you check with i2cdetect -y 1 from the terminal you should see the AS3935 on the bus but you may have to run the command a 2nd time. The as3935 chip wants 2 start commands so the first time you look for it won't show up. Make sure you change any references to 0x02 in the config files to 0x03 since that is where your chip is. I have an AS3935 working on mine that is also on 0x03.I do have to say in my years of working with the AS3935 i found it the most stable when using the SPI bus and not the I2C it would be nice if someone made a library for it using that bus.Another thing i found is to go into the sub folder in sky weather for the AS3935 library from the command line and run the command "python setup.py install". I had an older version of the library i was testing my sensor with before i installed skyweather that was missing a couple of functions, this tipped me off that sky weather was using the old library and not the one in its folder as it threw errors about the missing functions.

I bought the SkyWeather kit from your website on 6/12/2020, order #3621. Dave Dave, Even if it is way out of warranty, we would like to replace the Thunderboard. Please PM me your shipping address. No need to return that one, we know what the issue is (was). BP
