I just got the SGS 2.0 kit yesterday and was doing initial set up; when I got to the step of setting up my extender board, I got no power to the oled screen.
The sgs extender itself seems to boot ok, the lights on all the ports go off in sequence and after that sequence, the power and IO13 LED stay on (blue / red respectively).
Any hints of where to go next? I tried looking for the wifi signal anyway and didn't see one with any name that looked right to connect to if I wanted to try to go ahead without the oled display.
At this point I have only the pixel, the oled screen, the wifi antenna, and the power attached (I unplugged the relay board, sensor and light stick in case they were causing some issue but it is acting the same).
We had an error in our project kit building process that sent some, if not all, of SGS Extender Boards (the ESP32 board) out unprogrammed. Bummer! The few rewards we have not shipped out yet will be shipped with the programmed boards.
We will send out programmed boards out immediately (like tomorrow and this weekend) to all of you backers. Please keep the other board with our compliments. We screwed up!
You can tell if you have an unprogrammed board by watching the LEDs on power up. They will cycle through in a pattern on power up and then the OLED board will NOT turn on.
You can program them yourselves, if you like, but we intended to send out them all programmed.
