Receiving this message on the screen from the Pi. It is plugged into a wall socket. I've that people say there is a problem with the SD card and to update to the latest firmware. The card as new in the spring, but I will pull it out and try a newer one. I am running Buster an it is completely up to date. Any ideas? Thanks Scott

Something has changed in the raspberry Pi OS that looks at that. I've seen that come up too on quality power supplies. Just started with the latest update/upgrade cycle that we are going through with our SDCard.

Any ideas on this? I try to keep this updated.

the latest version of Raspian does that. It looks like it isn't well connected to reality. I'm seeing it on all sorts of power supplies that were designed for the Raspberry Pi (Like the Canakit supplies).

If they are using lm-sensors, then maybe it needs calibrating. I just don't have a decent PI to verify it anymore...

Check the power supply output or measure the +5 volt pin to ground on the GPIO bus (very carefully - don't cross pins with your voltmeter!)- there may be a problem with the supply, or there may be a problem dragging down the power in the pi or one of the peripherals.

I will need to check all of the connections. Since the weather station is about 20' from the house and the outlet, there is a heavy exterior extension cord that is connected to a USB 2 prong adapter that a USB cable goes up to the weather station. Perhaps the adapter is not compatible.

Had a look at the adapter and it appears to be a bit low on Amperage output. 1.8 mA. I checked the specs and it seems it requires a 2.5 mA.
Ordered one and will install and see if that matters.

Well, I'm back. I was having a lot of trouble with the Pi keeping the WiFi connected, changed the WiFi dongle, no difference. There is a lot of WiFi strength. I changed the adapter for a 5V and 2.5 mA and still get the "Low Voltage" pop up on the screen.
The Pi is about 12 to 15 feet from the plug in. I see there is probably 20 feet of cord between the plug in and the Pi. The cord is an outdoor extension cord. I was thinking of shortening up the cord, but will this help any? Or do I need a heavier cord? Moving the Pi/weather station really isn't an option.

You have a 20 foot USB Cord? That is a problem. Voltage drop along the USB cord will be significant. A 20 foot AC power extension cord is not a problem.
BTW, I think you mean 1.8A, not 1.8mA.

BP No the USB cord is not 20', but the electrical extension cord is. The there is a about 3 to 4 foot USB cord on the end of it.

Sounds good. Works fine. Definitely the Pi problem.

Sounds good. Works fine. Definitely the Pi problem. BP I changed out the Pi and still have problems with the low power warning. Also having trouble keeping the system running. Is this a possible problem with the micro SD card? Can I use the SD Copier to create a new one or will any errors on the card move over as well? New SD card is my next thought to correct the problems with it staying running.

The Low Power warning is a misnomer. It doesn't really work. You don't have low power.
Could be an SD Card problem. The problems shouldn't copy over if it is a heat or SD Card.
Make sure you use a quality SD Card. Don't use the cheap ones.
