Trying to install rtl_433 on my raspberry pi using the instructions in the manual. I loaded the rtl-433.git on my pi and followed the instructions:
cd rtl_433/
mkdir build
cd build
cmake ..
make
make install
I get to cmake .. and get the error
pi@raspberrypi:~/rtl_433/cmake $ cmake ..
-bash: cmake: command not found
do I have to install cmake in this directory? I notice there is a cmake directory under /rtl_433.

OK I installed cmake in the root directory. Now running cmake .. gets me the following errors:

Can you confirm you ran the following command:
sudo apt-get install libtool libusb-1.0-0-dev librtlsdr-dev rtl-sdr build-essential autoconf cmake pkg-config

Thanks, Jason. I ran into the same problem as cbluto and your statement also appears to have gotten me past that roadblock. Please put this in the instructions: sudo apt-get install libtool libusb-1.0-0-dev librtlsdr-dev rtl-sdr build-essential autoconf cmake pkg-config Thanks, Jason.
