Dear all, I've just been through the technical specifications pdf v1.2: www.switchdoc.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/10/WeatherRack2Installation1.2.pdfand got some questions. Page 11 states "The solar panel does not charge the batteries, so rechargeable batteries are not needed or recommended." - Does that mean it automatically switches the power source to photovoltaic if there's enough sun? - Given enough sun, does the weatherrack2 also work without batteries during daytime? Below it says: "We recommend installing Lithium AA batteries for sensors." - Lithium AA batteries are 3.6V, inserting 3 of those will add up to 10.8V. Can someone please confirm that this doesn't destroy the Weatherrack2? Or what is meant by "for sensor"? Thanks in advance for any clarification, could make sense to also list the input voltage range directly in a future version of the technical specification pdf. best, snoopy

Hi Snoopy!
1) Yes, the WeatherRack2 switches between power sources. Never tried the no battery thing! I doubt it will work, but it might. Good question!
2) Lithium AA batteries are 1.5V. You are thinking of LiPo batteries.
