Hmm. OK, let's see the results. I'm still thinking this is a network problem. BP

Quick update: The system has run for just over 2 days without a crash. This is the SkyWeather2 script, plus the dash app. The key here is having a single WAN enabled on my router and using ethernet for the pi's interface. Plus, I had forgotten the SDR antenna really prefers having a metal ground plane. So, instead of moving the pi downstairs and close to the outside unit, I just put a metal plate (an old hard drive tray turned upside down) underneath the antenna. I think that must help with the signal going through three walls. I'm keeping the system running to see if it is truly stable. I wonder if putting in the design some type of recommendation on a ground plane would be worth it. Dow

Having a ground plane does help!
I could run some experiments to find out. I'll talk to the powers that be and see if we can put together a project to check range on like the 433MHz Lightning Detector

System just went through the 5th day cron based reboot for the first time. Still running like a rock! When I get some free time, the pi, AQI, and camera assembly is going outside. Next the sensor array will get out from under tree shade. Thanks for all the support on troubleshooting the system!
Just to be clear: the WeatherRack2 is the pi, AQI, camera assembly? the SkyWeather2 is the sensor array? Or do I have those names backwards? Dow
