If you upgrade / update your Raspberry Pi, you may break the Mosquitto MQTT server on the Raspberry Pi.
Mosquitto v2 introduced some important changes.
By default it requires authentication and doesn’t listen on a network address.
The following simple configuration file will make mosquitto start like previous versions.
sudo nano /etc/mosquitto/mosquitto.conf
and add at the bottom:
listener 1883
allow_anonymous true
We have added this in the Version 16 of the SDL SD Card
