Folks, We are working on SkyCamRemote, a solar powered camera for WeatherSense and SkyWeather2. It moves the camera away from the Raspberry Pi, which means we can have the Pi indoor and not have to power it outside (with solar or otherwise). I'm thinking early to mid July for the kickstarter, but things are more or less working in the lab. Still have to figure out the auto exposure thing and add some more commands. The Pi WeatherSense software is well underway but we have barely started the SkyWeather2 interface. (supports both the Pi camera and SkyCamRemote). Attached are a couple of pictures. John

We are making good progress. Working on four issues before we can launch the kickstarter:
1) Reliability problem (think we have this figured out, running test now)
2) Generate Time Lapse videos for all cameras (certainly by the weekend)
3) Going through the power system and solar power system again to make sure we can support 1 per minute photos (looks like we can - in cloudy climates, you may want to g to every two or three minutes)
4) Get the Kickstarter write up finished, logos, etc! Done.
