Hi all,
what would it take to replace the AM2315 unit (which happens to flatline) with a SHT30?
Just reconfigure the config-file to use a SHT30? I suspect yes.

in the config file set to true I suspect as you mentioned and perhaps comment out the AM2315 on about line 126 #WeatherRack anemometerPin = 20 rainPin = 13
SHT30GSPIN = 6 # AM2315GSPIN = 6 Send the old one back to SDL and they will send you the new SHT30. forum.switchdoc.com/thread/1107/am2315-exchange-programHope this is what you were meaning.

Thx. That's what I thought. And I'll take a local one (Europe/France). Shipping oversease would cause very high Carbon. Will also try to use a different AQI Sensor. Yet no idea which one to take yet

Hi, have successfully replaced SHT30 sensor, what configuration changes did you make? I am running SKyWeather V1. I have done the same is shipping from US to Poland takes a lot of time and money. I bought locally an SHT30 sensor which works when I use test - but this does not work all the time. I sometimes think I need to due it several times in order to kick in. When I try to run SkyWeather.py script it does not see SHT30 and wiat indefinitely until I press CTRL-C, then it continues without SHT30. In the config I have disabled the old seƱor and enabled SHT30.

I just made sure the pin is the same as mentioned by SDL. Also, check if you have "hardcoded" the presence of the AM2315 somewhere in the configuration.
