Hi, I bought a SwitchDoc SDCard, and the setup process worked initially. I ran
sudo python3 testSGSSystem.py and it worked as expected; I received the expected output in console, and the OLED board cycled through the IP Address info + Sensors.
After about 10 mins, I tried re-running, and it no longer works... The OLED Board says 'Smart Garden' and nothing else. Now, when I run the test script, I get this error: requests.exceptions.ConnectionError: HTTPConnectionPool(host='10.0.0.48', port=80): Max retries exceeded with url: /setSingleValve?params=admin,1,1,20 (Caused by NewConnectionError('<urllib3.connection.HTTPConnection object at 0x759fa0b0>: Failed to establish a new connection: [Errno 111] Connection refused')) ########################### Wireless Extender 10.0.0.48 NOT RESPONDING ########################### I've reset and reconfigured the Wireless Extender, rebooted the rPi but I am unable to get it to work, please help.
Also, this is the 3rd issue I've had using the Switchdoc SDCard. I assumed this would work out of the box but has been as big a pain as provisioning my own SDCard. Really regretting my purchase.

I don't think that this is the SD Card. It's some kind of a network problem.
Can you ping the Wireless Extender?
When you talk about the OLED screen, you are talking about the wireless extender OLED screen correct?
I think you don't have the Wireless Extender card configured and connected to the network. Reset to defaults and try again.

I cannot reach the wireless extender. I've reset and reconfigured 3 times. The same thing happens. It functions correctly, then after about 10 mins, it no longer works... The OLED Board says 'Smart Garden' and nothing else.

About 10 minutes it fails? The fact it works at all rules out your SD Card and your setup configuration. Sounds like your wireless extender has gone bad. How long have you had the module?

I've had the unit for about 6 months now. It hasn't been working for the past 2 months now.

Always works for 10 minutes then fails? Sounds like your extender has died.
You are way out of warranty, but PM me your address and maybe I can find one to send you that has been sitting around in the lab.
