Powderjockey,
Hmm. This is a new problem then. Could you look through the database and determine how often this happens?

You sure your SD-Card is still Ok? My experience from starting weird problems with Raspberry PI devices is the SD-Casrd beginning to die. Reason I cleanup the OS and make sure the writes to the SD-Card are minimized. Check my Build-blog: www.shdw.fr/dyntbl.php?mod=docs&upd_menu_id=53&op=View&id=3What does a: "dmesg -tail 20" show you? The kernel rung buffer usually shows the existing errors with the hardware.

That command gave me an error, options not recognize basically. pi@SkyWeather:~ $ dmesg -tail 20 dmesg: invalid option -- 'a' Try 'dmesg --help' for more information.

Sorry - it should be: "dmesg | tail -20" - the pipe was missing...

I have seen this "out of resources" error before. I *think* it was fixed by either replacing the camera or reseating the cable.

OK. So it is not a system related issue. It is a software related issue. As @sdl mentionned, check your camera cabling.

Looked at the cable and it appears to have a kink in it. I suppose that would be enough to cause the problem. The cable is seated well on both ends. I'll order a new cable and see where that goes.

Those cables are fragile for sure.
