Apologies if I'm not creating this post in the proper location! I have two of the SkyCam's from the kick starter. Built both out with C1DD and C56D. C56D is working great with wifi association, messages hitting MQTT, dash app embeds and time lapses are all in order. C1DD was being problematic and tracks down to the SunAirPlus3 itself but I don't know what else to troubleshoot beyond suspecting it's the board.
Troubleshooting C1DD - With only the micro USB power connected the green LED light stays on and the red LED next to it blinks incredibly fast. If I switch SW1 on, the LED near USB out blinks at the same rate. The board functions the same with any combination of panel, batt, ESP load, and grove configuration. If I swap panel, battery, and esp with grove and usb between sunairplus3 boards (thankfully having two) C1DD itself works fine and kicks images up to the Pi and it shows on the dashboard as well.
If I run the C1DD ESP itself with direct power via microusb from laptop, provide the sunairplus3 power via microusb wall outlet, connect grove it never reports data
I don't see any physical component damage on the board but is there anything else I can double check? I ordered a replacement in #5219 but i'm not sure if that is also sunairplus3 (seemed to be)?
