Sounds like you have a bad WeatherRack2. I can't give you a new one (warranty is expired) but I can give you a discount. Coupon PM'd you.

Folks. Just a quick update. I have replaced the weatherrack, moved it closer to the my RPi and have had no issues with duplicates, signal strength or temp readings over the last three weeks. Thanks to Sopwith and SDL for their help in troubleshooting and rectifying this issue.

Check out the rain information in your database. Sounds like the values got screwed up.

Today all of a sudden I see the outdoor sensor readings go mad. You can see the temp reading in the grahics below but in addition the UV and light is way off course...especially as it is dark and still states the same values as below. I have changed the batteries twice and reset the device several times. I am running the latest version of SW2 and RTL433. Does anyone have any ideas? BTW I have two open posting but I have 2 SW2 systems!! In the skyweather2 log I see this error: processing FT020T Data This is the raw data: {"time" : "2022-12-31 16:25:04", "model" : "SwitchDoc Labs FT020T AIO", "device" : 12, "id" : 93, "batterylow" : 0, "avewindspeed" : 0, "gustwindspeed" : 0, "winddirection" : 40, "cumulativerain" : 0, "temperature" : 2042, "humidity" : 122, "light" : 131067, "uv" : 251, "mic" : "CRC", "mod" : "ASK", "freq" : 433.993, "rssi" : -0.114, "snr" : 11.856, "noise" : -11.970} error--->>> Temperature reading from FT020T This is the raw temperature: 164.2 processing FT020T Data This is the raw data: {"time" : "2022-12-31 16:25:04", "model" : "SwitchDoc Labs FT020T AIO", "device" : 12, "id" : 93, "batterylow" : 0, "avewindspeed" : 0, "gustwindspeed" : 0, "winddirection" : 40, "cumulativerain" : 0, "temperature" : 2042, "humidity" : 122, "light" : 131067, "uv" : 251, "mic" : "CRC", "mod" : "ASK", "freq" : 433.993, "rssi" : -0.114, "snr" : 11.856, "noise" : -11.970}

My outdoor weather system is now unusable as all the data it sends is incorrect.

When I reported the problem I brought my outdoor weather system indoors, 5 days later I plugged the batteries back in and low behold it started to work again. Moved it outside and a few hours later is suddenly changed back to reporting temperature of 73 degrees C , 0% humidity. What is happening to this outdoor sensor?

Is it possible you are not receiving a strong enough radio signal when the device is moved outdoors? Compare the signal strength when the device is indoor vs. outdoor.
Just a thought.

This could be the solution. It was already in line of sight but I did move it and the problem has not reappeared. Good call.
