Hi I have the smart garden 3. Using raspberry pi bullseye. I spun up my own SD card using your instructions. I have it running but It can not find the extender. It was working with a previous version I was testing with but now it can not be found when I run the scan on the new version. Is there's a way to reset the extender or to be visible to multiple SG systems? From TestSGSytem.py pi@raspberrypi:~/SwitchDoc/SDL_Pi_SmartGarden3 $ sudo python3 testSG3System.py ########################### SmartGarden3 System Test ########################### 2022-03-30 22:20:13.184576 Wireless Extender Address Test Requested = 192.168.1.xxx ########################### Starting Wireless Extender Test ########################### sending REST URL = 192.168.1.169/checkForID?params=192.168.1.xxx,1883 Traceback (most recent call last): File "/usr/lib/python3/dist-packages/urllib3/connection.py", line 169, in _new_conn conn = connection.create_connection( File "/usr/lib/python3/dist-packages/urllib3/util/connection.py", line 96, in create_connection raise err File "/usr/lib/python3/dist-packages/urllib3/util/connection.py", line 86, in create_connection sock.connect(sa) ConnectionRefusedError: [Errno 111] Connection refused

I reset the extender and added it back to my network. I get the same result after the reset.

You mean you reset the extender to defaults? or just reset the extender? Bullseye has not been tested. Only Buster. Note: The only systemic problems that I know with Bullseye has to do with the Raspberry Pi Camera, but it is still unknown what other problems might lurk. I would suggest going to shop.switchdoc.com and get the image for the SDCard, install it and test it using that. shop.switchdoc.com/products/download-image-of-32gb-sd-card-with-buster-smartgarden3-skyweather2-mouseair-weathersense?_pos=1&_sid=9931a0540&_ss=r"It was working with a previous version I was testing with but now it can not be found when I run the scan on the new version." Previous version of what? I find this interesting. Can you ping the extender unit? BP

Hi BP I can ping the extender unit. The reason I moved to the bullseye is that there was a version issue with Buster and plotly. github.com/switchdoclabs/SDL_Pi_SmartGarden3/issues/1So I moved to bullseye to see if that fixed it. I will get the SD card from SwithDoc. Here is the ping pi@raspberrypi:~/SwitchDoc/SDL_Pi_SmartGarden3 $ ping 192.168.1.169 PING 192.168.1.169 (192.168.1.169) 56(84) bytes of data. 64 bytes from 192.168.1.169: icmp_seq=1 ttl=255 time=1151 ms 64 bytes from 192.168.1.169: icmp_seq=2 ttl=255 time=85.9 ms 64 bytes from 192.168.1.169: icmp_seq=4 ttl=255 time=2279 ms 64 bytes from 192.168.1.169: icmp_seq=5 ttl=255 time=1239 ms 64 bytes from 192.168.1.169: icmp_seq=6 ttl=255 time=199 ms

I will get the SD card from SwithDoc and try it out.
Here is the ping to the extender.
pi@raspberrypi:~/SwitchDoc/SDL_Pi_SmartGarden3 $ ping 192.168.1.169
PING 192.168.1.169 (192.168.1.169) 56(84) bytes of data.
64 bytes from 192.168.1.169: icmp_seq=1 ttl=255 time=1151 ms
64 bytes from 192.168.1.169: icmp_seq=2 ttl=255 time=85.9 ms
64 bytes from 192.168.1.169: icmp_seq=4 ttl=255 time=2279 ms
64 bytes from 192.168.1.169: icmp_seq=5 ttl=255 time=1239 ms
64 bytes from 192.168.1.169: icmp_seq=6 ttl=255 time=199 ms
The extender from the browser shows {"variables": {}, "id": "2F79", "name": "", "ipaddress": "192.168.1.169", "hardware": "esp32", "hydroponicsmode": "false","return_string": "", "connected": true}

Try deleting your JSON files and reset up the Pi machine. This is pretty odd.

Hey So I started fresh with buster. After installing everything I ran the testSGSystem.py again. pi@raspberrypi:~/SwitchDoc/SDL_Pi_SmartGarden3 $ sudo python3 testSG3System.py ########################### SmartGarden3 System Test ########################### 2022-04-01 14:04:49.446730 Wireless Extender Address Test Requested = 192.168.1.169 ########################### Starting Wireless Extender Test ########################### sending REST URL = 192.168.1.169/checkForID?params=192.168.1.167,1883 sending REST URL = 192.168.1.169/setSingleValve?params=admin,1,1,20 ########################### Turning On USB1 Valve for 10 seconds on Extender: 192.168.1.169 ########################### Wireless Extender: 192.168.1.169 Successfuly Responding ########################### {'return_value': 0, 'id': '2F79', 'name': '', 'ipaddress': '192.168.1.169', 'hardware': 'esp32', 'hydroponicsmode': 'false', 'return_string': '', 'connected': True} ########################### ADC Sensors: sending REST URL = 192.168.1.169/testHydroponicsSensors?params=admin{'return_value': 0, 'id': '2F79', 'name': '', 'ipaddress': '192.168.1.169', 'hardware': 'esp32', 'hydroponicsmode': 'false', 'return_string': '-1,181,180,182,183,', 'connected': True} ########################### However. When I run the configure for SGS. It finds the Extender now. But I can not assign the Bluetooth sensor to the extender. Could I edit the talble and add the extender id manually? Attachments:

Reestart SG3Configure and try this again. I wonder if we have an update problem.
Then, if that doesn't work, you can edit the table. It's pretty obvious.

I restarted SG3Configure and still had the same behaviour. So I edited the table UPDATE BluetoothSensors SET assignedwirelessid = '2F79' WHERE id = 1;
I will keep testing to see if I can get any sensor data. So far I have no sensor data from the Bluetooth sensor

Would you show me the BluetoothSensors table? Post the contents.
Also PM me the SGS.JSON file.
