I had to reload everything, and mostly everything is working again, but the SolarMax will not charge. I didn't change any hardware or switches, and it used to charge, but since reloading the SmartGarden and SkyWeather programs, I am not holding a charge. It is a brand new battery, and I used the link that you provided to buy the it. I seem to be running up to 12v then immediately dropping to 3.7v. I'm not sure what is happening. Thank you, ~S

Checking the battery I show 11.32v but in the dash it shows as 3.72v and is not reporting. I will try going through the docs one more time to see if I can get it straightened out.

It is reporting, but not showing the correct V. I have gone through the docs several times now, but I cannot get it to respond correctly, and it is not powering on the extender. I have disassembled and reassembled it, ran the SkyWeather Config again, checked my connections and terminators... No luck. When i first reattach the battery, everything lights for a second on both boards. In the sun, the red light on the solar board is lit. Thank you, ~S

First of all, what happens if you unplug your load to SolarMAX2 and let it charge? does it report the correct voltages and are the lights lit up in SolarMAX2?
Send a picture of what the lights in SolarMAX2 look like under this load.
where on your chart does it read 3.72V?
I'd guess that you either have a bad battery or somehow you have burned out the controller or INA3221. Please send me a picture of your specs on your solar panel.
BTW, I have had a bad battery from this link once in the past.

I figured it out. Lol. I had tested every connection with a VMM, and primarily used the exposed screws on the connectors as testing points. I went back to basics and dis/reconnected every physical connection, and when I got to the USB +P Out, it slightly moved before I unscrewed the terminal. I turns out that it was making a connection when I took it out to test, but when I mounted it back into place, gravity pulled the wire out just far enough to make an air-gap. Reconnecting it an allowing it to fully charge before testing again worked.
Thank you, ~S

OUTSTANDING debugging! That is an irritating issue for sure.
