I've read and followed the directions shown here (https://www.switchdoc.com/2022/03/smartgarden3-read-bluetooth-sensors-fix-for-pi/)
1.Using the SDCard version of SMG3 removing the SSID of the Wifi does not cause a HotSpot to show up on any device (Iphone, Ipad, labtop or desktop)
2. The only time a hotspot is enabled as part of any RPI OS release is if you upgrade to Bullseye (the SD Card OS is Buster). Trying to upgrade from Buster to Bullseye creates many package issues .
Is there a Bullseye version of the SD Card? Or is there an upgrade process that walks you through the upgrade process (I've tried and there are many differences in package versions)
Thinking about this some more. Is the purpose behind making the RPI act as a hotspot is to enable you to log back into the RPI and run the scans? If so, could you accomplish the same thing by shutting off wlan and signing in via the eth interface?

This might be a buster versus bullseye or your wireless AP (we have found some that work and some that don't).
Can you try it on another AP?
