My Skyweather 2 has been operational for three days. Last night we had a decent rain storm.. I sealed my Skyweather2 RPI assembly well and I went overboard and used the waterproof putty to cover the entire RPI Case. It got pretty humid.... and when it dried out I have condensation on the inside of the Quartz glass. I'm concerned about the electronics. Did any of you do anything special to ensure you got no condensation inside the box ?
There is a small hole on he bottom of the box that is for condensation. It should not be sealed (I think that is mentioned in the documentation somewhere).
I fixed it yesterday. I went overboard making the assembly water tight because I tilt the camera on an angle to track the clouds and sunset. I opened the hole for the air quality monitor assembly (don't have one yet), built up a small cone with the waterproof clay.. and it's clear. Here's a link to where the condensation started and later that morning I opened up the hole.
