Folks. Due to changing market conditions and the continuing supply chain problems (still really ugly), we have decided to shutdown the SDL online store on June 30, 2023. We are selling off the existing inventory at a 50% off rate (Enter the code "FINAL50OFFSALE" at checkout!). SwitchDoc Labs has decided to focus on our custom design engineering and consulting business and not on new product development for the electronics hobbyist market. A couple of things: 1) The online store pages will be up on shop.switchdoc.com until the end of June. We are downloading and archiving these pages and will post any requested pages on our blog at www.switchdoc.com. 2) Any warranty issues or return requests will be honored until July 30, 2023. 3) We are open sourcing our design files. We will post any requested files on GitHub.com/switchdoclabs which will be available for the foreseeable future, as will our blog on www.switchdoc.com. Sorry to hear about the store shutting down. I'm thinking of getting a 2nd outdoor station as backup. Looking at www.sainlogic.com and its outdoor station/transmitter only, is their model 0310 the same thing as yours and will it work with your code? Thanks |

Wow... It's been a blast! and I guess all good things have to come to an end...
Thanks for all the time and effort that you've put into the products over the years... I certainly have gained a lot of knowledge and satisfaction working with the Skyweather2!

Sorry to hear about this, but I also work in electronics for optical transmission products and understand how painful it's been the last two+ years.
Is it possible for the mini-grove LP series of boards and the INA219 products to get your design files (layout, schematic) into Github for troubleshooting code etc, vs. the PDF's - being transparently selfish, it's faster for me to fly around the design files vs. looking at PDF's. Would also like the files for SmartGarden 3 boards - in particular the files for the extender. I have 2 of those that I would like to try and keep running or modify. It was a really fun project and I'd like to keep it going.
Best of luck with your design activities. I can certainly understand the business rationale of going that way in this economy.

Also came here to ask for the schematics/pinouts for the SmartGarden2 and the SolarMax2. I'm attempting to get the Smartgarden2 working with Esphome. I've got the wifi and the LCD display working but having trouble with the capacitive soil/moisture sensor(s). Not sure if I'll be able to trigger the USB ports or not but that's secondary.
