Time lapse photos

What kind of camera do you have? There are a number of options depending on your camera... If you have a Canon, look into CHDK - it provides an intervalometer.

Also, you can purchase an external trigger that has a timer/intervalometer built in. They make them for several cameras.

Then you have everything under Python control and you can make gifs and movies from the photos. BP
