I'm wondering about adding sensors to the SmartPlantPi project. I was thinking about a barometric pressure sensor like the SparkFun Barometric Pressure Sensor Breakout - BMP180. It's I2C though, and my I2C bus is full of other sensors...
How would you approach adding another sensor (analog, I2C, or other) to this project?
Where to begin?!
:-)

I'm also interested in adding more sensors (soil moisture) and more pumps. I can sacrifice the air and sunlight sensors if that means i can more easily connect a couple more soil moisture sensors. Any ideas for adding more pumps? These are fun little USB pumps! I'd ultimately really like to have total of 4 pumps (4 plants) but with this current initial kit, could be complicated?

SeanJ,
You can add pumps by adding more USB PowerControl EN boards and if you add a USB Extender to the PI, lots and lots more. Yes, you can remove the air and sunlight sensors from the ADC board and add more moisture sensors. You can also add an additional ADC board for LOTS more sensors.
Of course, you have some software to do to make it all work.

I’m or maybe noone is asking for the precise recepie - but directions due to how the program flows. I have to confess - I have never done any code in Python but what I have seen of the code - it was readable and I`m quite sure I`m able to copy functions where needed. Regards

Ah, hints!
Look at what we do to control the pump (using the USB PowerControl EN board). You just have to duplicate those using a different GPIO port.
That's probably the first thing you should try doing.

Fair enough - I will look into the code.
