Folks,

As planned, we are planning to fix some outstanding bugs in our software during the week of July 17th.

Here is our list:

1) GroveWeatherPi Version 2.93 Rainfall Rate reporting 0 for last 60 minutes, includes the midnight reset issue Fixed: GroveWeatherPi 2.95

2) SmartPlantPi - UV always reporting zero (Sunlight Sensor) Fixed: SmartPlantPi Version 014

3) Wind Speed reports impossible speeds when wind gets > 20MPH?

Fixed: GroveWeatherPi 2.93, OurWeather Version 022

4) OurWeather V021 is reporting Gust less than current Wind Speed Fixed (we think - Hard to prove): Version 022

5) AM2315 is reportedly not reliable on the Raspberry Pi (starting Raspberry Pi Reliability Test)

6) GroveWeatherPi Wind Gust Problem Fixed (we think - Hard to prove): Version 2.94

7) Add updated JSON to SmartPlantPi Fixed: SmartPlantPi Version 014

8) SmartPlantPi Moisture Detection Locking Fixed: SmartPlantPi Version 015

P.S. For #3 and #4, we are building a "wind tunnel" that will blow air faster than 20MPH. We have a wind gauge to calibrate. How fun! Bring on the duct tape.

Will you also address the Total rain amount not resetting at midnight and the AM2315 sometimes returning bad data or showing up not present for GroveWeatherPi? I know there are workarounds on the forums but just curious if these will be rolled into the main code. Those along with the proper rainfall rate and wind/gust speeds and I think things will be pretty solid as far as the bugs that I've ran into using the GroveWeatherPi code.

EDIT: I also forgot that at least for me, the Rain Bucket increments by 0.02" per interrupt instead of 0.01" so I have had to divide the total by 2 to get accurate amounts when uploading to Weather Underground.

Rather than using a wind tunnel, you can attach the sensors to a pole attached to the back of a pickup truck and (on a calm day) drive in a straight line. Use the car spedometer as a reference. Not perfect, but easy....

Can you point out exactly which change in the code supposedly fixed this so I can verify?
