Romain, We don't have a version 017 ready to go. We are going to add some functionality (actually we are adding a Lightning Detector! How cool is that?  ) but we don't have another bug release on the sheet. Did I miss something? Is there a bug outstanding that we need to look at? BP |

Any chance you guys have the datalogger configured for SmartPlantPiyet? Not sure if/where that sits on your (busy!) schedule?

Hi Romain,
We are still waiting for engineering to release the new Thunder board lightning detector to start the software. Plus moving the office has us in a tizzy. So I don't have a date yet, but I would guess late September.

Any update on the Lightning detector? I damaged mine so I bought an MOD1016 elsewhere with the intent of wiring it up without the Grove connectors. Grove would make it easier, though. Thanks! Mike D.

Hi Mike,
We just released the final version (hopefully!) of the Lightning Detector to manufacturing this past week. We are waiting for our prototypes. It was a tricky (although supposedly simple) design. We didn't get the sensitivity we wanted in the first version and we wanted to improve the I2C buffering.

Nope, V17 is not out yet. We are waiting for the Lightning Detector board prototypes to arrive at our door! Another week or so and then a couple of weeks later, SmartPlantPi V17!

We released V017 to correct a program with library names that apparently is an OS problem. V018 is underway now. We are adding the Lightning detector to V018.
