hi everyone, I recently received my complete weather kit but the OLED shows nothing during start up and after being idle for hours. I tried a couple times to reassemble by following the manual, but no success so far. Please see attached photos! Any help appreciated! Kevin Attachments:

Hello Kevin! Thanks for the picture. It looks like you have it wired up correctly. Now we have to ask a few questions to figure out what is wrong. 1) What are the LEDs doing? Specifically is the white LED blinking? 2) Can you see the device on (if you see the device on your wifi list as given in the manual)? If #1 is showing the white light occasionally blinking, then you probably have a bad OLED board. You can verify that by answering #2). If #1 is no and #2 is also no, then you probably have a bad WeatherPlus board. Do these things and let us know what you find. We will be happy to issue an RMA for the bad device. Best regards, BP

Hi BP,
1. I don't see the board has white LED when it is powered on. 2. I can see a wifi SSID called AI-THINKER_105XXX and no password protected, the IP range of this wifi is 192.168.4.0/24. When I connected to it and I can ping 192.168.4.1 address, but there is no HTTP service served from that IP.
Hope these answers are helpful for you to diagnostic the issue.

Kevin,
One more thing. Turn the unit on, let it set for 15 minutes (running) and then tell me if the white LED flickers occasionally (about every 5 seconds or so).
Sounds like your processor is running but let's get the above data.

The board has been powered on for more than an hour, I don't see any white LED flickers. Just a thought, am I suppose to see WIFI SSID name OurWeather-XXXX instead of AI-THINKER_XXX?

Hmm. That is a good point. I think that you just have an unprogrammed WeatherPlus board. I missed that clue the first time around.
Can you program one of these with an Arduino IDE?
If you can't (see the advanced manual), send it back to us and we will program it and send it back to you immediately.

I received mine this week and it is mostly dead. The oled is blank. The wifi works and is connected to the network. The only sensor that appears to work is the wind speed. The RTC is bogus after being set as is every other sensor except wind speed. I expect I have to do the same. Where are the instructions and files to re-flash it?

Sounds like you have an unflashed board. I'm going right now to talk to to our production person and get all of our boards reflashed just in case.
switchdoc.com/OurWeather and look for the Advanced Programming manual.

Doc,
The programming manual says to use IDE version 1.6.9 and select Adafruit Huzzah as the board under the tools menu. Problem is, there isn't Huzzah on IDE's 1.6.9 or 1.8.5 . On 1.8.5 there is an AdaFruit Playground. What IDE or board type do I use. Is there a BSP package I need?

I do think the board was programmed by your production, though I don't think they did it right. Here is the data from it. Though I do have all the sensors disconnected right now while I'm trying to program it.
