If I replace my existing RPi-based SunAirPlus, WatchDog Duo and USB PowerControl with the new SunControl, can I still run the GroveWeatherPi.py software?

Sir,
yes you can! The SunAIrPlus board is 100% software compatible. As is the USB PowerControl. WatchDog too (except you only can go up to 60 seconds between watchdog pats.
Look carefully at the wiring of all three devices, although the SunAIrPlus is trivial.
We are just starting on a redesign of the GroveWeather Pi to use SunControl and use some Grove PowerDrive boards to reduce power for the solar power units.

I'm looking forward to the Sun Control / GroveWeatherPi redesign, as well. Getting an updated wiring plan will be a big help!

Based on our engineering / marketing meeting on last Friday, I'd say December for the latest update to GWP.
If you are replacing SunAirPlus with SunControl, I can give you those guidelines now!
