I want to note out that I have my complete circuit built. I have wired all the wires in the wiring list in the GroveWeatherPi tutorial(including soldering the USBPowerControl one) 1. If I disconnect the battery and the solar panels and run the entire system from the mini usb on the pi (using pi zero w) everything boots up(all LED's light up Note: no led on the USB Power Control board lights up). However, when I run the sudo python GroveWeatherPi.pi on terminal. The pi will shutdown immediately after the first WeatherUnderground send request !!!! This is very essential to my project
2. I can't boot the pi if I connect my Lipo battery and solar panel using the USB Power Control and SunAirPlus whenever I connect all the wire and connect the usb from the USB power control into my pi zero and turn on the switch on SunAirPlus nothing happen. A dim green light come form the SunAirPlus LED02
Note: I have disconnected lightning detector and HDC1080
Battery charge is 3.626
Thanks, Mohamad

That's exactly what I was going to suggest on part 1).
Part 2) - The battery is under the "turn on voltage" for the USB power Control. Charge your battery up to 3.9 or so.

Sorry this might sound like a stupid question but how can I charge the battery using the SunAirPlus board ? I hooked up the battery using the Jst wire and then hooked the other Jst input to a voltage source (that I set up to 4.0 volts)but it is not drawing any current !! I left it for couple hours but voltage remained at 3.626 by the way the red LED to near the Jst input lights up once the voltage from the voltage source get over 3.7volts what does that indicates ? Also I tried to hook up the voltage source directly to the board in place of the battery and I raised the voltage to 3.9 and the board didn't wake up !
Appreciate any kind of help

No problem! You need about 5 or 5.5V on the Solar JST connector to charge the battery. We do this all the time when we are testing.
What board didn't wake up? Do you have LIPOBATIN wired up?

Oh thanks yes I believe both the SunAirPlus and UsbPowerControl didn't wake up Oh yes finally the board is drawing some current(0.92 amps) How long do you think I should leave it for?
Thanks Mohamad

How large is your LiPo battery? SunAirPlus will only charge it to the safe and appropriate voltage.

When you did the above setup, what happened? Did it turn the USB card on?
