I have tested from a windows pc, ipad and pi all pass returning version 2.7 but raspiconnect still fails server report, any ideas please it's odd that the version number in the config.py is 2.4?

Kitkat,
Check your system URL in RasPiConnect. It's almost certainly a mistake in your System URL. The RasPiConnectServer code (on github.com) has been updated to 2.7 but it is unlikely that the version number is the problem.
Your System URL in RasPiConnect should look like: "http://rfw.example.com:9600/raspi"
where rfw.example.com should be your domain (if you are inside a local network, as in behind a router, it would more likely be like 192.168.1.133 or whatever is your Raspberry Pi IP address)
Note that you need to get the port number right too!

Found the issue I had 2 config.py files yours has a capital Config.py not as documentation now working but cost me many hours and a can of coffee!  |
