I have come to a point where I need some help.

I have the Grove Weather Pi half of the project together. I have not implemented the Solar power side of the project.
I am running into some intermittent problems and some none functioning sensors.

I am using a Raspberry Pi 3B computer running NOOBS version 2.7.0. I have installed all the packages (to the best of my knowledge), I have updated the Kernel, upgraded packages. Everything seems to be up to date. I have installed all the packages in the version 2.99 readme file. I have triple checked all electrical connections to the wiring diagram. I got GroveWeatherPI.py running routinely with the following results:

AM2315 is intermittent from giving values to going to 0 on values. With values I get a crc =1 with zeros I get crc =0.
Below I do not see address 0x05

The OLED display does not light-up or give any values no matter where I plug it into bus 0. I have changed grove cable on this one to see if there is a cable problem. Below I can see address 0x3c.

Thunderboard has a white led light sometimes at others it is off. I am not seeing the Thunderboard on Bus1.

Great note with great information. Thank you!

On the OLED, hook it up to the GroveWeatherPi Pi2Grover I2C with NOTHING ELSE CONNECTED to the I2C bus.

Run this software:

github.com/switchdoclabs/SDL_Pi_SSD1306

And see what that gives us.

I see that it is on the I2C detect on the I2C bus, but not picked up by GroveWeatherPI

If the test above fails, then you have a bad board and we will replace it!

are you talking about the following needing to be re-installed:

git clone github.com/adafruit/Adafruit_Python_PureIO.git
cd Adafruit_Python_PureIO
sudo python setup.py install

After re running the above I disconnected everything from the I2C bus on the Pi2Grove card and connected only the OLED display.

ran the image program as follows:

The OLED problem discussed above has been resolved apparently by waiting for things to be updated.
Did a rebuild of the weather project software with NOOBS 3.0.0.
Loaded the latest SwitchDoc software
Along with anything else that is latest in the software install list.
The OLED is working.
