OK, the first output on the Pi3 setup. I plugged it into the whole project while installing it, so I could test everything.

The database is also starting to fill:

If WeatherUnderground is getting data also, I am one happy camper (so far)

The story continues... Today I got some stuff to mount my solar panels in. I am more relaxed with metal than with 3 printed plastic for something that will be mounted in possible winds...So I bought some aluminum U-profiles and some PVC protective sleeves. That will go on the top and the bottom of the three panels, mounting them together with "tapeind". No idea how it's called in English, but basically a very long, thin bolt that will pull both U-profiles together, fixing the solar panels.

OK, the aluminum u-profile I had, was too small too hous it all, so I swapped it for one size bigger. Some sawing and drilling firther I got this:
The longer bolts will be used to mount the panel somewhere.

Not sure how great the values actually are, but I get values
Solar Cell Bus Voltage 2: 4.61 V Solar Cell Shunt Voltage 2: -0.64 mV Solar Cell Load Voltage 2: 4.61 V Solar Cell Current 2: 6.40 mA Solar Cell Power 2: 0.03 W

Well, you don't have much sunlight (but the data looks good), but I love your mounting system. Would you write up a short blog article for us and we will publish it for others.

Well, you don't have much sunlight (but the data looks good) The panels were actually inside my house, with a LED flashlight on it, so the low values were to be expected but I love your mounting system. Would you write up a short blog article for us and we will publish it for others. Thank you! I will write an article how I built it. Will disassemble it for some more pictures.

Getting some good power! Not enough to start charging the battery, but getting close!

Boxed up and "on its own" for the first time. Still inside (don't worry, the heating is still off). Pi Zero inside, no external power, so let's see what happens...

And we move on... It's "on it's own now" Pi3 replaced by the Pi Zero. The box still incomplete. The finished box.

I like the box. What make is and where did you get it?
